About us
Copper Pots Day Nursery is registered with the Care Inspectorate for just 32 children — small enough to feel personal, but big enough to offer rich learning opportunities. Our size allows us to remain a truly family-oriented setting, where every child is seen, valued, and encouraged to flourish.
We combine the best of the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches, giving children freedom to explore, make choices, and develop independence while being guided by experienced and caring staff.
Our nursery is based in a beautiful Victorian house in Aberdeen, adapted to feel warm and homely. With cosy rooms, natural light, and a safe garden to explore, we provide an inspiring environment that feels like a “home from home.”

Children are born with a natural curiosity. They want to do, they want to discover, explore for themselves, use their senses, be active participants and in charge of their own learning
We provide the children with a rich environments, full of open-ended resources, authentic items, and loose parts, we allow the children the freedom and creativity to problem solve, use their imaginations and extend their play in any way they choose.
We believe through accessing this well planned and highly inviting and stimulating environment through play children learn at their own pace, in a happy confident way and will thrive.

Opening Hours
We are open 8am - 5.30pm, 50 weeks of the year.
Offering full and half day sessions - minimum four sessions per week (One full day equals two sessions)
